1. What is Google Maps Takeover?
Google Maps Takeover is a local SEO service aimed at helping businesses rank higher on Google Maps, which is crucial for driving local traffic. Our goal is to increase the visibility of your business in Google Maps, leading to more phone calls, website visits, and, ultimately, more customers.
2. How does Google Maps SEO differ from regular SEO?
Google Maps SEO, also known as local SEO, focuses specifically on improving your ranking in Google Maps results. Unlike regular SEO, which targets overall website rankings in search engine results pages (SERPs), local SEO is more focused on ranking higher for location-based searches, helping businesses connect with local customers.
3. When would my business need a Google Maps Takeover?
Your business may need a Google Maps Takeover if:
- You are not ranking well in Google Maps.
- You want to generate more phone calls and website visits.
- You have reached a plateau in your current rankings.
- You are a new business trying to establish a presence.
- You are opening additional business locations and need local visibility.
4. What is the goal of a Google Maps Takeover campaign?
Our goal is to rank your business as far out from your physical location as possible. The higher your business ranks on Google Maps, the more likely you are to receive phone calls and website traffic. However, ranking results depend on the competition in your area, and we aim to extend your visibility as much as possible.
5. How long does it take to see results from the Google Maps Takeover?
Typically, you can expect to see an increase in phone calls and website traffic within 60 to 90 days of starting the campaign. However, results may vary based on competition and other factors.
6. Can you guarantee a Page 1 ranking or a top 3 spot on Google Maps?
No, we cannot guarantee specific rankings. Google’s algorithm is constantly changing, and ranking depends on various factors such as location, competition, and search relevance. While we aim to improve your rankings, we never use guarantees when it comes to specific outcomes.
7. What factors affect Google Maps rankings?
Google’s algorithm for local search prioritizes three main factors:
- Business name – Your business should reflect what you do.
- Location – Your physical location and proximity to the searcher.
- Relevance – The services you offer should match what people are searching for.
8. What deliverables can I expect in the first few months?
- Month 1: We’ll onboard you, perform keyword research, optimize your Google My Business (GMB) listing, post GMB updates, and set up tracking and reporting.
- Month 2: We’ll focus on website content optimization, off-site article creation, title tags, meta descriptions, and citation cleanup.
- Month 3 and beyond: We’ll continue GMB posting, photo uploads, citation building, and backlink creation while running regular audits and reports.
9. How do you ensure my business remains competitive in local search?
We conduct regular audits, competitor research, and ongoing optimizations. Our team constantly adapts to Google algorithm changes and keeps your website updated with optimized meta titles, descriptions, and backlinking strategies. We also ensure that your GMB listing remains accurate and fully optimized.
10. Do you only work with Google, or do you optimize for other search engines as well?
While Google is our primary focus, we also extend our SEO efforts to other search engines such as Bing and Yahoo to maximize your business’s overall visibility.
11. What are the ongoing tasks in a Google Maps Takeover campaign?
After the initial setup, we continue to:
- Post weekly updates to your GMB.
- Upload and optimize images weekly.
- Create new questions and answers on your GMB listing.
- Build new business citations and backlinks.
- Perform ongoing audits for broken links, toxic links, and website errors.
- Adapt to changes in Google’s algorithm.
12. What makes Purely Digital Marketing different from other SEO companies?
We take a Google Maps first approach, prioritizing local SEO because most phone calls and website visits are driven through Google Maps for local businesses. Our expertise in this area allows us to focus on what really works for businesses looking to increase local visibility.
1. What are Google Ads?
Google Ads is an online advertising platform where businesses can bid to display ads in Google search results, YouTube, and across the Google Display Network. Google Ads allow you to target potential customers when they are actively searching for products or services that you offer.
2. How do Google Ads work?
3. Why should I use Google Ads for my business?
Google Ads help you reach potential customers at the moment they are searching for products or services like yours. With precise targeting options and real-time analytics, you can maximize the return on your advertising spend, increase traffic to your website, generate more leads, and boost sales.
4. What types of businesses benefit from Google Ads?
Google Ads can benefit any business, whether you’re a local service provider, an online retailer, or a national company. It works particularly well for businesses looking to capture high-intent customers who are actively searching for your products or services.
5. How much does it cost to run Google Ads?
The cost of Google Ads depends on your budget and industry competition. Google Ads operates on an auction system where you set a maximum bid for how much you are willing to pay for a click. We recommend starting with a minimum budget of $1,000/month, but we can adjust the budget based on your specific needs and goals.
6. How do you target the right audience with Google Ads?
We use Google’s advanced targeting options, including location, demographics, and user behavior, to ensure your ads reach the right audience. Additionally, we optimize your campaigns by using keywords relevant to your business and industry to attract users who are most likely to convert.
7. What is the difference between Google Search Ads and Google Display Ads?
- Google Search Ads appear at the top of Google’s search results when users search for specific keywords.
- Google Display Ads appear on websites across Google’s Display Network. These ads are more visual and help increase brand awareness by reaching users while they browse other websites, watch YouTube videos, or use apps.
8. How do you measure the success of a Google Ads campaign?
9. How long does it take to see results from Google Ads?
Google Ads can start generating traffic and leads as soon as the campaign is live. However, for optimized results, we typically need 2-4 weeks of data to adjust targeting, keywords, and bids for optimal performance.
10. Do you provide ongoing management for Google Ads?
Yes, we offer ongoing management to ensure your campaigns are continuously optimized. This includes adjusting bids, adding or removing keywords, creating new ad variations, and refining targeting strategies to improve performance.
11. Can you run Google Ads alongside my other digital marketing efforts?
Absolutely! Google Ads works well in conjunction with other digital marketing strategies like SEO, Facebook Ads, and email marketing. Combining efforts allows for a holistic approach, ensuring your business has a strong presence across multiple channels.
12. What sets Purely Digital Marketing’s Google Ads service apart from others?

1. What is Programmatic Advertising?
Programmatic advertising automates the buying and selling of ad space using sophisticated algorithms and data insights. This method allows for precise targeting, real-time bidding, and continuous optimization, ensuring your ads reach the right audience at the right time. Unlike traditional methods, programmatic advertising leverages real-time data, enabling you to dynamically adjust and enhance your campaigns.
2. Where will the Ads Show?
Our ads will run across what is known as the available web. This means anywhere your next customer might be browsing the internet outside of “walled gardens” – things you must sign in to like Facebook or Tik Tok. So, if your next customer is reading the news on Yahoo! Or checking out the stock market, reading a recipe blog or playing a game on their phone, they may see your ads. Our ads run across roughly 85% of the internet, which means that if your targeted customer is using the internet in any fashion, laptop, desktop, iphone, etc., we will get your ads in front of them.
3. Native Ads:
Native advertising places your brand right within the browsing habits of your next customer. When they’re reading the news, checking the stock market, following their favorite NFL Team, or on their favorite app, your ads will be right alongside their chosen content drawing them in. Oftentimes, these ads almost resemble content from the site itself. Which is different than Display Ads.
4. Display Ads:
5. TV3:
TV3 is a step beyond OTT, Connected TV, or Streaming Video reaching all 3 platforms. We are able to target custom audiences for your TV3 campaigns just like all other offerings, ensuring that your video ads reach the right viewers when they’re most engaged, creating a powerful, TV-like experience that is data-driven and measurable down to the website click. Whether on Roku, Hulu, DirectTV, Amazon Fire TV, or Apple TV to name a few, TV3 ads provide the immersive experience of television with the targeting and tracking precision of MarketStorm.
1. How does the service work?
We place a tracking code on your website that will attempt to gather the IP address of every website visitor that comes to your website. If that IP address allows us to gather the physical address associated with the user – we will then mail a postcard to that address. We will only mail one postcard per user. Meaning, if someone visits your website multiple times – we will not send them multiple postcards.
2. How does billing work?
See pricing chart for guidelines. The more postcards you set your limit at the more affordable it is per postcard. You will not be billed again until we reach the number of postcards you have purchased if this is set up as an A-LA-CARTE service.
3. What is the Setup Fee?
We charge $300 to get started. This includes initial design work for the postcard.
1. What services do you offer for Facebook and Instagram ads?
We focus solely on strategic advertising campaigns for Facebook and Instagram. This service does not include managing social media presence, schedule posts, or create content like Reels or Stories. Our primary objective is to manage ads that have a specific purpose, such as generating leads, phone calls, or increasing brand awareness for local businesses.
2. Can you provide an example of a Facebook advertising campaign?
An example would be a Med Spa: We create ads using compelling before-and-after photos of their services, along with catchy ad copy. The ads drive traffic to a landing page or a Facebook lead generation form where potential clients can request free estimates. We also set up an automated follow-up system that sends texts or makes phone calls to warm up leads and encourage conversion.
3. When should a business consider Facebook or Instagram advertising?
A business should consider Facebook or Instagram advertising when they want to generate more leads quickly. Facebook ads are excellent for businesses that need an immediate influx of leads or phone calls, are just starting out, or want to boost their visibility. While Facebook leads are generally cheaper than Google leads, they may require stronger sales processes to convert.
4. What is the goal of a typical Facebook or Instagram campaign?
5. What is the structure of a typical Facebook ad funnel?
Our Facebook ad campaigns follow a structured funnel:
- Top of Funnel: The ad image or video, the ad copy, and the headline. This is where we capture initial interest (Facebook is very visual).
- Middle of Funnel: The landing page or Facebook lead form, where we capture lead information.
- Bottom of Funnel: The follow-up process, retargeting ads, or Click-to-Call options, which help convert leads into customers.
6. What budget do you recommend for Facebook and Instagram ads?
7. What sets Purely Digital Marketing apart from other Facebook ad agencies?
We manage the entire funnel for your Facebook and Instagram ads. This includes creating the ad copy, selecting ad images, targeting the right audience, building custom landing pages, and setting up a follow-up system. Unlike other agencies, we tailor every campaign to the client’s business and location, ensuring that the landing pages are customized and not one-size-fits-all. Our goal is to deliver high-quality branding with real solutions, not gimmicky sales tactics.
8. Are Facebook and Instagram ads more effective than Google Ads?
9. What kind of ads do you create on Facebook and Instagram?
We create visually appealing ads that are tailored to the needs of your business. These can include photo or video ads with engaging copy that highlights your services. We use a variety of ad formats, including image ads, carousel ads, video ads, and lead generation ads that are optimized for conversions.
10. How do you follow up with leads generated from Facebook and Instagram ads?
We implement an automated follow-up system that can send out text messages or make phone calls to leads that come through your Facebook ads. This process helps keep potential customers engaged and increases the likelihood of converting them into paying customers.
11. What types of businesses benefit most from Facebook and Instagram ads?
Businesses that benefit most from Facebook and Instagram ads are those looking to quickly generate leads or increase brand awareness. This is particularly effective for service-based businesses such as painters, contractors, and weight loss clinics, where the primary goal is lead generation through special offers or free estimates.
